Ron Manescu District Judge

Good Day! My name is Ron Manescu. I am currently serving as your Magisterial District Judge in the City of Allentown Wards 3,13,17,18. I ran for reelection in 2021.

As a judicial candidate, I can cross file and was extremely fortunate to run unopposed. The primary election was held on May 18th, 2021. I received 1660 votes as a Democrat and 679 votes as a Republican. The General Election took place on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. I received 2,869 votes. I am very grateful for your support.

My committee did not accept camapign contributions as long as I ran unopposed. After working several jobs after high school, I found my career path with the City of Allentown Police Department. I started with the Department in March of 1973 as what was known then as a Police Cadet. I retired in 2010 as an Assistant Chief of Police (Chief of Detectives). I was elected to my current position as Magisterial District Judge in 2009. The terms of office are 6 year terms. I was reelected in 2015, and 2021.
